Zimbabwean Hip-Hop Heats Up as Voltz JT Fires Shots in Remix of 'Gore-Zimmagazine
The remix of "Gore" serves as a battleground for artistic expression, competition, and social commentary within the Zimbabwean hip-hop community. Voltz JT's verse, though only a segment of the collaborative effort, stands out for its boldness and directness.

The Zimbabwean hip-hop scene is ablaze with controversy as artists engage in a lyrical showdown through remixes of popular tracks. One such remix, a revamped version of "Gore" originally composed by 216Whisky featuring Mr. Attention, has taken centre stage. Voltz JT, a prominent figure in the Zimbabwean rap scene, contributes a scathing verse that appears to target fellow artist Holy Ten and former collaborator Micheal Maggz.

Voltz JT's Explosive Lines:

In a standout verse, Voltz JT doesn't hold back as he delivers a direct message, taking aim at Holy Ten and Micheal Maggz. The lines "Gore Richitanga maita kunge muchapenga ne Pressure" cut through the air, suggesting that the success of Holy Ten's hit song "Pressure" might be overwhelming, perhaps insinuating a struggle with newfound fame and expectations.

Continuing the onslaught, Voltz JT drops another bomb with the line "MA fuse mamaka catcher kupfeka hembe dzadzakamecha." This pointed lyric appears to reference Holy Ten and Micheal Maggz's public endorsement of Zanu Pf during the elections, accusing them of superficially aligning themselves with political figures and donning matching outfits ("hembe dzadzakamecha") for mere optics.
