Zimbabwean-South African rapper and television personality, Nadia Nakai, is set to attend the eighth edition of the Changamire Festival Awards, which will take place tomorrow at the Woods auditorium in Harare. The event, which will feature a red carpet, is expected to celebrate local influential artists and honour Nakai with the Most Influential Female South African Award.

Nakai, who recently lost her partner, South African rapper AKA, is still coping with the emotional aftermath of his death. However, she expressed her gratitude for the award and her excitement to attend the event in a social media post.

Changamire Festival Awards executive, Jackson “Zimboy” Muchechetere, stated that everything is set for the event and they are pleased that Nakai has confirmed her attendance. He further expressed his delight at the recognition of local talent and the celebration of African female artists.
