Zimbabwean based exciting rap prospect Christopher Vhembo known by his stage name Kriss Newtone was born on the 13th of November in 1999. He started his musical journey back in 2012 where he would devour his peers in rap battles at school and on facebook.

He recorded his first professional song in 2014 and this marked the first stamp to great things that were forthcoming.Under the mentorship of one of the greatest Lyricist Jungle Loco, Kriss Newtone further evolved in his young career and swifty found comfort as a conscious rapper addressing socio-economic issues and sometimes political.

The most prominent references being the tracks: Rich Dad Poor Dad and Revolution.As his stage name would suggest Kriss Newtoneaimed at bringing a new tone, new feel, new vibe and something novel to the game and rightly so made himone of the biggest new school prospects to be reckoned with. His wordsmiths capabilities combined with a flawless delivery and a cut-glassaccess awarded him some recognition and got constant support and co-signs from other prominent players like Tehn Diamond and Soko Matemai both of which he actually idolise.

FUTURE PLANS

Kriss Newtone firmly aims at breaking out the local scene, collaborate with other global stars and bag international accolades. His sheer talent and the business sense to his exportable brand saw him partner witha Record label|Management Agency dubbed 8square Music in early 2021 and the future looks lucrative for the global Superstar in the making.
