A desperate move by a Bindura man to make money has landed him in trouble after he was dragged to court facing a sodomy charge. Enerst Denhere Chiheya (40) appeared before magistrate Samantha Dhlamini.

A man from Bindura, Zimbabwe has landed in legal trouble after attempting to make money through a desperate act. Ernst Denhere Chiheya (40) appeared in court facing a charge of sodomy. On January 7th, around 11 PM, Chiheya was caught in the act of sodomizing a friend by an informant who alerted neighbours. The police were then notified and Chiheya was arrested.
According to the prosecution, Victoria Choga, the incident occurred at Saimona Farm in Bindura. During his defence, Chiheya stated that he was advised by a traditional healer to perform the act as a way of acquiring wealth. The case continues on February 13th.
