Deputy arts minister Tino Machakaire has issued a clarity statement on his video speaking out about Eureka. In his statement he had this to say:
We are advocating for political groups and the public in general to stop fighting Winky D.We do not fight with people but we relate with people.
We are saying that our doors are always open for artists or young people who have grievances. We are one people.
Honorable Mliswa hailed this statement by tweeting:
Hon Machakaire I will differ with you here. As an open young leader yourself I believe you can invite @winkydonline and he can explain for you his album himself instead of believing gossip tales from opportunists and bootlickers.
The truth of the matter is that Winky D never insulted, attacked or cursed anyone. He has created no chaos. He simply brought up pertinent issues which are plaguing this country as everyone knows. His model and platforms are very much on point as a musician. #EurekaEureka
Eureka has been causing a lot of turmoil on social media and Winky D is yet to publicly talk about it
